Benefits

One Vision offers an attractive package of benefits to employees.  In addition, we conduct a wide array of in-house training classes which are free to employees, such as First Aid, CPR, Mandt Behavior Management, Med Aide, and more.

In 2014 and 2015, our organization was named to the Top 100 Workplaces in Iowa by Workplace Dynamics, a list published by the Des Moines Register.  This is based solely on employee surveys.  One of the top comments by an employee is, "They go out of their way to make sure I'm doing well and always have a listening ear."

That is surely a top benefit!  But here are highlights of the standard benefits*:

Health insurance

Available at group rates for full-time employees and their families at a cost of $2.4 million per year to the organization. If both spouses work full-time for One Vision, they may purchase a family plan for the cost of two single plans. Includes Whole Health Dimensions wellness program for each person on the plan.

Pension plan

Must have been employed 13 months, worked 1,000 hours, and be 21 years of age to be eligible for pension. Employees may make pre-tax contributions to the plan.  New plan members automatically enrolled at 2% unless they decline; may choose to contribute any percentage desired within IRS guidelines.
OV matches 100% of the first 3% of employee contribution and 50% of the next 2%, for a total employer contribution of up to 4% of gross pay.  In other words, if employee contribution is 5% of wages, the Village contributes 4%. Employees are 100% vested in OV match right away.

Life insurance

$15,000 term life policy for full-time employees, paid by OV. Voluntary group term life also available up to $100,000. Family members also are eligible for coverage.
