48th Annual Benefit Walk to Celebrate One Vision CommUNITY

Volunteer. Employee. Family. Friend. Donor. Supporter. No matter how you describe yourself, each and every one of us is an important part of the One Vision community. We are all united in our mission to support individuals and their choices, and to connect them with purpose.

At our 48th annual Benefit Walk, we want to celebrate everyone who is part of our community and the common vision that brings us together.

Join us at our signature fundraiser on Sept. 16 and 17 to support One Vision (formerly Opportunity Village). Events like the Benefit Walk provide a way to not only bring our community together in fellowship, but also helps raise awareness and generate crucial resources to support the services we provide.

Gather a team of family, friends, or co-workers to walk around City Park in Clear Lake and City Square Park in Fort Dodge. The walk will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Registration will begin prior to the walk and will be held in City Park.

Walkers should create their own personal FirstGiving page at www.ovbenefitwalk.org and set a fundraising goal. All walkers are encouraged to raise funds before attending the Benefit Walk. Walkers also are encouraged to start a team page on FirstGiving, which allows you to track your team's fundraising progress.

Once pages are set up, share them with families and friends, post to social media, and share the link with your loved ones, asking them to sponsor you through a financial donation.

Want to raise money offline? Pick up sponsorship packets at Tried & True in Mason City (located in Willowbrook Mall), the General Stores in Clear Lake and Fort Dodge, or by contacting Jennifer Pinske at 641-355-1356.

All funds raised through the Benefit Walk will be used toward services provided to individuals supported by One Vision.

BEFORE THE WALK

Join us before the walk for our second annual Appreciation Picnic, a way to say thank-you to our hardworking staff and valued families, friends, and community members. The complimentary picnic begins at 11 a.m. in City Park in Clear Lake and City Square Park in Fort Dodge. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a delicious catered lunch with friends!

AFTER THE WALK

Stick around following the walk! At both locations, we will have a variety of games for adults and families, as well as live music.
