One Vision: Connecting People with Purpose
What is our vision? To inspire meaningful lives by connecting people with purpose, whether that purpose is obtaining a job in their community, finding a home that meets their needs and wants, or supporting their personal interests. In the fall of 2021, we were honored to be chosen as one of 15 Northern Iowa Employers of Choice by the Globe Gazette.
One Vision is a human services nonprofit organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Incorporated in 1966, we first opened our doors in 1971. We now serve more than 400 individuals across 30 communities in North Iowa.

Because state reimbursement rates have only increased 3.55% (effective July 1, 2021) in the past 30 years, each year, One Vision must make up this growing gap to ensure our employees are paid a fair wage and that the people we support have access to the quality of services and supports they need to live their best person-centered life
