One Vision's Coronavirus Policy- 3.1.21
Facial covering is required in all OV properties. There is the possibility that temperature and symptoms screening will be conducted.
There has been no change to any of the requirements and expectations of One Vision staff for the use of masks, gloves, hand-hygiene, use of other PPE and social distancing, as possible, for staff in any of our facilities, homes, clinic, community-based services or businesses.
It remains extremely important for us to all continue to wear masks, practice good hand hygiene, clean surfaces with potential for spread (such as doorknobs, other common surfaces, etc.) and maintain at least 6 feet of social distance when we are around others.
More research is needed to determine if the vaccine will also prevent the spread of the virus. Therefore, until we know if the vaccine also significantly reduces or prevents the spread of the virus in people who have been vaccinated, we MUST continue to use all of the prevention/mitigation measures we have been using to keep the people we support safe and each other safe.
The following guidelines posted on 10.16.20 are still in effect for Employees, Vendors and Contractors of One Vision regardless of the Governor's proclamation. Email One Vision's Pandemic Planning and Response Team if you have questions: PPRT@onevision.org.
Staff, Vendors and Contractors are all screened upon arrival to homes and are required to wear masks/facial coverings. If a staff tests positive, they will follow the guidelines from the CDC of: If positive with symptoms: off work and self-isolate until 10 days from symptoms onset, AND no fever without fever reducing meds for 24 hours, AND other symptoms improved. If positive and asymptomatic: off work and self-isolate for 10 days from date test was taken.
